You will soon be part of one of our football teams. It is important to attend training regularly and be available for matches on weekends. Your coaches volunteer their time to support you, so it is only fair that you also make yourselves available to ensure a full team can train and play successfully.
Your teammates also have the right to expect all players to attend training and matches regularly. This is the only way the team can develop and the best possible team can be fielded. If you frequently have private or other appointments that conflict with the schedule, please consider whether team sports are the right choice for you or your children.
We are a club and must stick together. As a member or as a parent of a child, I commit to actively participating in club life. This includes organizing a small sale at home games for each team. I am willing to actively support this. Washing the jerseys is a task that is taken on responsibly. There are also other club activities, such as football camps, tournaments, or field repairs, where I would like to help within my means. Treating the club’s property with care is a given.
To manage all games and training sessions and to communicate with members, we use the multilingual app Sportmember. This app lists all training sessions, games, and other club activities. The club also uses this app to seek volunteers when helpers are needed. I am willing to actively use this app and to register or deregister for all appointments. I am aware that I am responsible for showing up for club activities I have registered for. If I am unexpectedly unable to attend, I am responsible for organizing a replacement. I also have the opportunity and obligation to keep my contact details, such as address and phone number, up to date in the app.
By joining the club, you become part of a strong community. We act as a club and not as individual teams that manage themselves. It is important that you do not communicate negatively or disparagingly about the club, whether on social media or elsewhere. Such behavior can lead to exclusion from the team and the club.
As a club member, there is no entitlement to fixed playing times in a team. Playing time depends on several factors such as training participation, athletic development, regular availability for games, and behavior on the field by players and parents, and is generally at the discretion of the coach or, in rare exceptional cases, the club management. In case of disagreements, the coach and/or the youth and department management are always available for clarification.
It may be necessary for players to change teams for sporting reasons. This is to ensure that all players, including your children, can develop athletically and are neither over- nor under-challenged.
If you can identify with this philosophy, you are warmly welcome to join us.
